India passed the 100 million subscriber milestone last month. That’s enough to make it the fifth largest mobile subscriber market in the world. By population India is the world’s second largest country, with 1.1 billion people.

China is the largest mobile market with over 400 million subscribers. The US has over 200m subscribers.
