Amp’d Mobile has signed a distribution deal with BestBuy that will have the upstart carrier’s products in BestBuy stores sometime this summer. Amp’d is a content-centric mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) that launched late last year.

Despite hundreds of millions in venture capital, Amp’d has not been able to gets it products in many stores. Besides direct online sales, Amp’d is sold only through independent wireless dealers. In comparison, Mobile ESPN has been able to get itself into Sprint stores and BestBuy.

Amp’d recently launched a pre-paid version of its service.
