Responding to complaints about high overseas iPhone data roaming charges, AT&T has developed a new plan. For $24.99 more than users’ existing data plans, they will get 20MB of international data, and will be charged $0.005 per kilobyte for anything above 20MB. Users can also opt to spend $59.99 per month more than their existing data plans for 50MB of data, with the same overage charge per kilobyte. These rates apply only to 29 countries in which AT&T has roaming partnerships in place. Roaming outside of these countries will incur $0.0195 per kilobyte fees.
