Makayama, based in the Netherlands, announces the availability of VOICE DIAL for iPhone 1.0.
Voice Dial for the Apple iPhone lets you dial and call up contacts with your voice. Voice Dial for the iPhone works with all languages. It does not depend on a dictionary or vocabulary, but it stores your speech samples and links them to contacts, applications or bookmarks.
You can try the Voice Dial software for free, full release sells for $27.95 (19.95 Eur). Important: You need a Jailbroken iPhone to install the application. Makayama plans to port the Voice Dail for iPhone to the iPhone SDK as soon as it is available. More details on the Makayama site.

I just tried out vlingo and it’s pretty good. It just read my address book and didn’t require any training. Unfortunately it doesn’t work with bluetooth headsets, but I don’t think anything does on the iPhone currently.
