Control the lights in your house using the iPhone

Lutron, the company that developed the dimmer switch in the ’60s, now offers a lighting system that can be controlled by your iPhone or iPod Touch.

With a simple app, you can control how bright you want it to be from across the room.

Setting up your house lights to run off of wireless modules can cost several hundreds or thousands of dollars, though the app is free, and it will be available in January.
