It’s said that Apple will be releasing a 3G iPhone, with the same specs as the current model, but with 4 GB internal memory, in time for the Christmas holidays. That’s 4 GB less than the current lowest available - that being the iPhone 8 GB. So, that’s $100, on a two-year contract, less than the 8 GB model, for half the storage capacity. It’s said to launch in Walmart, but, it’s not currently known if it’ll be a Walmart exclusive, or available in other stores. The original iPhone launched with a 4 GB model, which was quickly replaced by the 8 GB, so this will be a welcome addition for those that only require 4 GB of storage space.
