According to 9to5Mac, a well respected Apple-related rumor source with a good track record, a $100 price drop is coming for both the iPhone and iPod Touch sometime within the next month or two.
The move by Apple would result in a $399 16GB iPhone, a $299 16GB iPod Touch and a $399 32GB iPhone Touch.
