LG, Motorola, Nokia, Samsung and Sony Ericsson have all agreed that Micro USB will become the standard port on mobile phones for charging. This means all new phones from these manufacturers will use Micro USB ports and chargers, though the manufacturers didn’t announce when the new standard will go into effect.
