LG KF700 and KF600
LG introduced two new slider phones today that use touch controls rather than standard d-pads for navigating phone features. Both have tri-band 900/1800/1900 GSM/EDGE radios.

  • KF700: This phone has a 3-inch touchscreen that utilizes finger input to access menu items and interact with the screen. There is a software dial where you can place up to 6 shortcuts to phone applications. On the back of the phone is a physical dial that mirrors the software one. You can use the dial to select from your chosen shortcuts no matter what application you are in. It slides open to reveal a standard alpha-numeric keypad for calling and text input. It also has a 3 megapixel camera with flash and autofocus, stereo Bluetooth, media player, and microSD slot that supports cards up to 4GB. It adds 2100MHz HSDPA support for Europe.
  • KF600: The KF600 is essentially a GSM version of the LG Venus. The 1.5-inch touchscreen navigation area changes depending on what application you are using, and offers specific controls for applications such as the camera and music player. The KF600 also has a 3 megapixel camera with autofocus, but drops the flash. It has stereo Bluetooth 2.0 and a microSD slot that supports up to 4GB. The KF600 has eight dynamic graphic UIs that work the design elements into the appearance of both the main display and navigation screen.
