Verizon ships Novatel V620 EV-DO card

Verizon Wireless today announced the introduction of Novatel Wireless’ V620 EV-DO high-speed data card. The V620 uses dual band EV-DO and 1xRTT technologies (1xRTT is used when no EV-DO signal can be found). Verizon Wireless’ BroadbandAccess service is $79.99 per month for unlimited use. The V620 is $99.99 after a $100 mail in rebate and 2-year customer agreement and will be available beginning January 17th through Verizon Wireless’ Business sales channels.

The card should be available to consumers starting on January 24th.
