Nokia today also launched two 3G phones for use outside the US. Both phones go by the 6500 model number, but one is a Slider and the other a “Classic” candybar. Both models runs Series 40 with quad-band GSM/EDGE, dual band (850/2100) WCDMA, QVGA screens, Bluetooth and a unified MicroUSB connector for sync, charging and even headset in on the “Classic.” The Classic features a 2 Megapixel camera and 1 GB of built in memory and is 9.5mm thick. The Slider features a 3.2 Megapixel auto-focus camera with dual LED flash and a MicroSD slot that is SDHC capable, as well as TV-out.
