T-Mobile USA and Samsung jointly announced the Samsung T929 Memoir today. The Memoir is a touch-based phone that carries an 8 megapixel camera with Xenon flash and five different shooting modes. The Memoir uses Samsung’s TouchWiz user interface and Samsung has loaded it with a new widget that makes uploading to photo-sharing sites easier. The Memoir has music/video playback capabilities, a virtual QWERTY keyboard for composing messages, Bluetooth, a-GPS and can access T-Mobile’s 3G network. The exact release date and price was not disclosed.
