Today Samsung announced the t819, a new quad-band GSM/EDGE plus 1700 MHz 3G slider for T-Mobile. The t819 is compatible with T-Mobile’s myFaves calling program, and comes with stereo Bluetooth, a 1.3 Megapixel camera, and a microSD slot for added storage. According to the documents that Phone Scoop received from Samsung, it is also compatible with “Wireless Internet Express,” which could refer to T-Mobile’s forthcoming 3G network. However, T-Mobile has not yet announced when its 3G network will launch. The t819 comes in a two-toned brown color. The t819 is available today via T-Mobile’s web site and select retail outlets.
