The 3G-iPhone to come to Europe in May 2008

Reportedly, Apple plans to launch European shipments of the iPhone supporting 3G networks in May 2008. The news came from the mobile software developer known as SevenClick referring to the Spanish newspaper El Pais. Telefonica, the biggest mobile service provider in Spain, expects the 3G-iPhone in May 2008. According to the source, the release in Spain will take place prior to that in the UK, Germany and France.

However, Steve Jobs, Apple’s head, mentioned that the iPhone with 3G would be released next year. He didn’t specify the date. So we don’t know whether the non-official info by SevenClick is correct.
