Since being available since April 2003, 3G has steadily grown over the last few years, with users in Europe exceeding 100 million, in the span of five years. To be precise, by the end of May this year, Europe had 101.5 million subscribers, out of the total 910.8 million users, giving 3G around 11% of the European market. Some of the growth can be attributed to the popularity of 3G modems, offering access to the Internet from your Laptop or Computer, with a fair amount of use per month, giving good value for money for the consumer. The highest number of subscribers belongs to Sweden, Norway and Italy, totalling over the region of 25%.

That’s just evolution. There’re many great deals for inclusive internet minutes/bolt-ons to make mobile internet access possible.
