Rumours about a new iPhone have been floating around for eons now. Yesterday, Citi investment research analysts produced a report, stating that hopes are high for the announcement, on June 9th, at Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference. Obviously, no-one on Apple would comment on the rumour, as is always the case with things like this. One piece of evidence, if you will, is that US network operator AT&T are pushing the release of the Blackberry 900, from the scheduled June, to August, presumably to give the new iPhone some leverage on release. 3G is the number one priority for iPhone fans in the US, who currently rely on the much slower EDGE connection. Plus, current iPhone owners will ponder if they will be able to use the 3G network. Time will tell we guess, stay tuned.
