LG introduces pioneer 3G handsets for WCDMA roaming

LG WCDMA roamingLG Electronics has announced today that GSM Association (GSMA) selected LG-KM560 and LG-KP330 phones to lead GSMA’s Horizon Phone Campaign. The initiative aims to provide a range of multi-band Mobile Broadband handsets and meet the needs of customers around the world. Many manufacturers do often implement the support of a single or dual WCDMA band. While LG’s new handsets boast of tri-band 3G support – 850, 1900 and 2100 MHz in addition to GSM bands, thus they enable automatic roaming in over 220 countries.

Initially LG-KM560 and LG-KP330 will be available through operators in Europe, Asia and Latin America in 2H 08.
