Gigaom notes that Novatel got FCC approval on their new 3G Wireless PC Card. The Merlin U520 Wireless PC Card Modem was developed jointly with Lucent and should enable download speeds of up to 384 kbps. This card will be used in Cingular’s upcoming 3G trial in Atlanta.
